“No Way Home” is a movie about the Marvel franchise Spiderman. Spiderman, played by actor Tom Holland, asks his superhero friend, Doctor Strange if he can make everyone forget about him. This is because one of his old enemies, Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, revealed Spiderman’s identity, causing all of New York City to know who Spiderman is. Spiderman tries to fix the situation but Doctor Strange’s spell goes wrong. This forces Spiderman to fight new villains and forces never seen before. “No Way Home” came out on Dec. 17, 2021. This movie has sold 38 million tickets in just three months making Marvel $1.69 billion.
“No Way Home” is the fourth grossing film of all time in the U.S. and in Canada. CNBC states, “Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is ’emotionally riveting,’ ‘a celebration of Spidey fandom,’ critics say. Critics have favorably reviewed Tom Holland’s third solo Spider-Man film, calling it a “celebration of Spidey fandom.” “Spider-Man: No Way Home” currently holds a 95% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 152 reviews.”

This quote shows us that fans loved this movie because of the nostalgia and the emotions that this movie explores, but “No Way Home” also had upstanding fighting scenes with amazing acting sequences. The actors gave amazing performances in this movie, causing the audience to make them feel like it is a real story.
According to BGR, “There’s no question that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the best and most enjoyable MCU Spider-Man movie so far. It’s not just because of the multiverse angle that turns the film into the first live-action Spider-verse movie. The story is excellent, and the ending makes perfect sense for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.” Fans think the film may be the best movie that Marvel has made in a long time.

Many fans who have been Spiderman fans for 20+ years were very happy to see all three of the Spiderman actors together. Many believe William Defoe, who played Norman Osborn on “No Way Home”, “stole the show” with his amazing performance on “No Way Home”.
Fans on Lenexworld.com commented with reviews such as “overstuffed, and it has a number of weird choices and some clunky plotting.” But if anything, audiences wanted more easter eggs, surprises and fan service, as fans wanted to see Fantastic Four and even X-Men crop up. And given how the end credits are around 15 minutes, the movie is really not all that long.
The movie was not very exciting for some fans because it did not make sense. Many wonder if the movie is good or bad, or if the movie is just “too short”. Some fans believe the movie is “overstuffed” because of how many villains there are in the film causing the movie to not be as good as fans expected.

After watching the movie myself and going through the pros and cons of the movie as well as reading through the different comments, I believe “No Way Home” is a movie that deserves the amazing ratings it got. The reviews made by fans calling criticizing the movie, which was mostly about the overcasting of previous characters, all prove the movie was much better than expected compared to what the comments say.
So after everything that has gone down, is “No Way Home” worth watching still? In my opinion “No Way Home” is worth watching because of the excellent acting, nostalgia and action-fighting sequences.
